WORK EXPERIENCE

Superdry USA Flagship -  Noho, New York, NY. Manager, September 2011 – Currently. Began with training program for store manager. On floor duties, maintaining a staff, setting schedules, running the floor, opening and closing store procedures, assisting General Manager with weekly goals and meetings. Learning how to run a retail store. Working hand in hand with the corporate PR team downstairs in the showroom to send samples for press pulls on a daily basis. Currently training managers for the launch of upcoming store in Times Square.

 

Playa Design - Cancun, Mexico. Swimwear Designer, June 2011 – September 2011. Designed swimwear and beachwear for Cancun based clothing company. In charge of flats and specs, textile and trim sourcing and shipment, and overall concept design of garments.


Anthropologie - Chelsea Market & Soho, New York, NY. Display and Visual Merchandising Intern, Jan 2011 – June 2011. Worked on creating and maintaining display (interior and window) and completion of visual objectives while upholding overall aesthetic of the store. Using artistic media including painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing, etc with the help of basic construction techniques and power tools to create the installations. As well as merchandising products, including clothing, home goods, and accessories throughout the store.

 

Club Monaco - Flagship,  5th avenue, New York, NY. Stylist, June 2010 – Feb 2011. Styling clients while adding additional UPT to the sale and keeping a client book; as well as personal shopping appointments. Experience behind the register cashiering POS, and front door greeting.

 

F.I.T. vs. Parsons Fusion Fashion Show - F.I.T. 7th avenue, New York, NY. Fashion Show Coordinator, 2010 and 2011 Shows. Coordinator of backstage during show and production of show, as well as working with designers throughout the year by selecting models, picking sketches to be produced, helping designers complete their vision, etc. Was also a designer for the previous 2 years representing F.I.T.

 

Abercrombie & Fitch Flagship - 5th avenue, New York, NY. Stylist, Aug 2007- Aug 2009.Marketing the all-American image, driving product sales through creating a store experience, and participating in seasonal floor sets. Styled mannequins and models throughout the store, making sure everything from lighting, furniture, and uniform was presentable and acceptable under store standards.


Film "Apocalypto" – Produced and Directed by Mel Gibson, Veracruz, Mexico. Costume Designer, 2005 – 2006. Helped produce costumes for the movie shot in Mexico. Design, sewing, trim, embellishment, etc.

Cotton Inc. Award 2011 Competition, Winner Sportswear category. Representing F.I.T  2011 graduating class. Judged by Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Narciso Rodriguez, Norma Kamali.

Council of Fashion Designers of America 2010. Portfolio Design, semi-Finalist 2010 Competition.
